PNUMA helps protect the earth´s resources and preserve ecosystems for future generations,
beetwen this activities are the campaignes to clean contaminated water, also try to raise the
concern in people about this problem, and has created laws.

Our team has researched about this problem and an action that we have been doing is the
recucling of plastic bottles, because we do not want to be throw into the bodies of water.
and created more activities abput this problem.

The people should use cloth bags instaed of plastic bags, because the plastic bags only 

generated trash that reaches the rivers, another thing we should stop wasting this resource
whitout any consideration. The people ought to we use less water on the houses and schools.

There are many NGOs that have helped to reduce the air pollution in the world. For example Greenpeace, it has made environmental campaign to reforest. Mexico also has many NGOs like Pronatura that they have planted 30 million of hectares tropical trees and promoted environmental laws. “Espacios Naturales y Desarrollo Sustentable” has recovered miles of hectares of forests and jungles.

We have helped the environment when we have travelled by public transport to go from our houses to school and come back house; we have also used a bike. Sometimes we have walked when we go somewhere near. We have not burned the garbage. We have always tried to give the waste to the collector car.

We think the people ought to buy hybrid cars and the government ought to create a credit to buy it. We should use environmentally friendly products. We also think the people ought to use less their vehicles and they should use more the bike or walk. We think people should ask the government to implement more laws to protect the planet.
